My Dortmund Adventure (PART 1)
July 29, 2015
SO FINALLY!!!
The post I've been waiting all month to share is finally here! Let me repeat myself in the announcement sort of voice:
"MY DORTMUND ADVENTURE"
(whoohoo!)
For some who may not know, I'm a Dortmund fan :) Not the super die-hard-can't-sleep-cant-eat-will-kill-people sort of die hard. But I do support and love the club. Let me back track a little to how I first got to know the club. (It's a funny story actually)
#1
So I got to know the existence of this club a year before last when I randomly video hopped around youtube and found myself watching one of Klopp's interviews, "Do you think I'm an idiot" (i can't exactly remember the exact title)
Ahh, yes, Jurgen Klopp.
The club's ex-coach/manager
I'm sure some of you Dortmunders are sighing at this picture now.
He's such a funny, witty guy that's always so determine and who always tries to look at the brighter side of things even when he knew the club was doing bad.
But what really caught my attention was his genuine passion and love for the club.
And honestly, I LOOOOVE watching him celebrate!
Because it's like watching a beast, UNLEASHING ITS WRATH!! (??)
He really doesn't care whether or not he's on television.

you see what I mean? HAHAH |
And his interviews are just so entertaining
But overall, He's just an incredibly charismatic, hilarious, fun-loving guy that loves to openly express his emotions the best way he can.
and since then, I've been a closet Dortmund supporter.
and since then, I've been a closet Dortmund supporter.
My heart broke when his announcement of his departure from BVB came early this year.
Because... NUUUUUUUUU :'(
He has done so much for the club and i love his presence and vibe, energy and obviously, I don't want him to leave.
But I guess he figured that the club could progress further and learn more from someone else rather than himself.
With much love and respect, Danke Kloppo!
You have definitely touched the hearts of each and every dortmunder and it is truly sad to see you go :(
Thank you Klopp! :')

Things cannot get any more superficial than this.

You know how it's said that every story must have a beginning right?

TEEEEHEEE!
Erik Durm
Seriously tho, he is such an eye candy!
He first caught my attention (and definitely my eyes) back in 2014 during the FIFA World Cup where he was an unused substitute for the German National Team. Well, used or unused, he is definitely oh-my-goodness the most handsome guy that i've ever seen. Ever.
(in other words, football just got even more interesting to me Hahaha jk)
After Germany won the World Cup, it got easier to do my research on Erik, because the German team was everywhere! Google, Twitter, Youtube, Yahoo.
oh don't get me started on Tumblr.
Literally everywhere!
and basically, he's born in Pirmasens, he's a catholic and plays for Borussia Dortmund (!!!)
(Love for the club accelerated after knowing that fact hahaha)
Oh did I mention he is only 23 years old?
I'm 20 and I still in Poly.
Gosh.
I got pretty obsessed with him for a couple of months.
My walls were filled with pictures of his (beautiful) face.
And all I ever thought about was him LOL
Don't blame me!
I studied in a girl's school for almost my whole life and boys were practically non-existent in my world, with the exception of those from Sunday class, so mind me if I get alittle (okay, a lot) excited if I see a beautiful man.
Oh and his tattooes are seriously........ohhhhhhhh
I don't really go for men with tattooes.
but now i do :)
Back then, one of things on my wishlist was to visit the Westfalen Park and also to meet Erik up and close in person.
Well, who knew that down the road I would get these golden opportunities.
So in December 2014, I decided to make a little detour....
Unfortunately, No boys from the team :( as it was Christmas break and most of them were prolly overseas.
But it's alright!
Some shopping would do the trick :)

WHY HELLO THERE
I never thought that in a million years, or in fact inifinity, that I would land myself on Dortmund land.
and the place was beautiful! Everyone was so friendly and accomodating, and it's not true what they say about germans. The Germans are one of the most hospitable and friendly people I've ever met.
and now that I think of it, I really miss the German beer.
Amazing I tell you.
(Prolly should go there for Oktober Fest :p)

I'll just leave it like this first.
Don't go anywhere just yet, the story is just about to begin :)
