Hello Poopsies!
So Lenten Vigil was held at Holy Fam & East Coast on 22nd to 23rd, 7pm to 7am. It was my first Lenten vigil ever and I didn't know what to expect. But it was really fun and prayerful :) A good mixture of Ying and Yang.

So I met up with the gang at around 5 pm (I woke up late -.-) at church to like have a last minute rehearsal for all the of 3 skits. I realized we can never start session on time :p

Yeah so this was before the Lenten Vigil started. Abit of hanging out, camwhoring and last minute preps.
When the vigil kicked off, we started with some ice breakers to set the mood followed by the skit of the Passover. Mannn, I miss performing :P So after the skit we actually had like a taste of what the Israelites did during the Passover, except um.. with tuna :D


After the mini meal, we separated into 4 groups and we did a little sharing. Ahhh I love my group - krystle, John, Tim, Kenneth, Alex, Christian, Jeremy, Grace, Colin, That's all I think :)

Yeah. So after the sharing we did some activities  of 5 different stations. There was the station of thorns, Nails, Candles, washing of the feet,Prayer, Die, Bitter Vinegar and Paint! I'm so lazy to explain everything. But My ultimate favourite(s) is the thorns. because as I was touching the sharp point of the thorns I was imagining a  crown of thorns being pressed down on Jesus' head. Like ouchhhh. And I thought of all the painful moment moment, Physical and emotional, and like nothing can beat the pain Jesus' experienced. Being publicly humiliated and physically torn, like wow. and my other favourite was the washing of feet. Because... it was just fun. Hahah I washed Tim's feet and tickled it. & the stupid boy did it back to me. hahaah! So after that we did some reflections and then we headed over to East Coast Park for the rest of the Vigil.

At east coast park we had a couple or more skits, stations of the cross some of us took naps. I was high the whole night with talya. hahaha you know us right :)

But overall, Lenten vigil was really fun :) and I made a couple of great friends with whom I still keep in contact with. They're my homies, how can I ever ignore them? (:



So after the whole vigil, we had breakfast then we went back to church where some left but I stayed to clean up and spend time with my newly found homies. And afterwards we went to the YOUhf room where I completely crashed. I woke up with no one in the room and I got scared. hahaha But went back to sleep. At around 2pm we (Furt, Steven and I) left church and we cabbed home. So that was my Lenten Vigil :)













Sorry this post took like forever! Heehe, Morning shift later at Tampines 1 and its 3 am in the morning. I need to sleep okay night night :)
